Have you ever wanted to represent the very best Youth Ministry program in Kingwood? Have you ever wished that you could wear a different KWCC Youth Ministry shirt every day of the week? Well, we have good news for you! Thanks to our friends at Bonfire, we have NINE different t-shirt options available as well several tank tops, long sleeve shirts, and sweatshirts (which will really come in handy this time of year!). Bonfire works with organizations to create custom merchandise, making your dream of a different KWCC Youth Ministry shirt for every day of the week come true! All of the proceeds will go to support our Youth Ministry, particularly to help us give a facelift to our room. What a wonderful way to support our students while also getting our name out in the community! You can purchase your KWCC Youth gear here!

August 4th is Youth Sunday. We will come together at 11:00am here in The Sanctuary for a combined service where the youth will be leading us in worship and sharing their stories from camp. Please plan to join us.
Sunday, August 4 following our combined service (Youth Sunday) you are invited to take part in a service project supporting youth in foster care and to learn more about foster care. We will put together duffel bags of hygiene and personal supplies for foster youth. Kasey Castro wrote for and received a personal grant from the National Benevolent Association to fund this service project. The $1,000 grant allows for 24 complete duffle bags to be assembled! In addition, we have the opportunity to supplement each duffle bag with a book or two from an Amazon wishlist comprised of the 2024 Lone Star Reading List. Books can be delivered to Kasey's address directly from the wishlist! This is also an excellent way to support children and youth in foster care as they prepare to go back to school on August 7th. Thank You to Kasey for including the church family in the opportunity to serve!
Our beloved Richard Goddard passed on the morning of June 29. Join us in the sanctuary of Kingwood Christian Church on Saturday, August 10 beginning at 10:00am for a memorial service honoring Richard. Lunch in Fellowship Hall will follow the memorial service. Please pray for Linda and family during this difficult time.
Our nursery is getting more full of babies and toddlers, which is a great blessing! However it also means we need more help. Please let Lisa know if you are interested in either of the following:
Call or text Lisa Aguilar if you are interested at 832-922-5151.
- Becoming a paid worker in the nursery a few Sundays a month. OR
- Being a “volunteer on call” a few Sundays a month who can check in on the nursery and see if the paid worker needs help, depending on the age and number of kids who attend.
Call or text Lisa Aguilar if you are interested at 832-922-5151.
