We were hopeful about KWCC when we heard the Welcome Statement in The Table service but wondered if those values would really be lived out. My son wore heels to worship and the youth complimented him and greeted us warmly! KWCC lives out its values and has shown genuine love and support for my family. - Brad
KWCC guided my faith journey and helped me develop leadership skills in my youth. Then they embraced my multiethnic family in adulthood. Now my children are also developing faith and leadership in and through KWCC. – Lindy
As a lifelong disciple for more than 80 years, I understand that religion has changed but the need for it has not. The church is essential for a civilized society, for values and structure, balance, relationships, navigating difficult challenges and service to the community. – John
At KWCC everyone is welcomed with open arms! They welcomed and supported me like family when my husband died, and I experienced major loss, even though I'd only been going to the church for a few months. – Elda
KWCC is a place of unity and love. It is a safe space to ask questions, and an authentic place that reflects its values. Be the Bridge is just one example of living those values by ministering to the marginalized. –Brad
After being raised in a faith that taught many things that were untrue, including hate in the name of God, I'm working through my faith and my beliefs. KWCC has demonstrated love and support for me and my family. It’s a place where all types of leaders and teachers are lifted up and celebrated, including women and offering opportunities for our LGBT son. - Elizabeth
