BE THE BRIDGE PROJECT

First Thursday, Monthly

Be The Bridge Project is based on some central affirmations. It affirms that Jesus cares about racism and calls his followers to be activists for reconciliation. It affirms that loving and valuing all people was central to his life and work. As a result, we follow in his footsteps when we continue this important work… for there is much work to be done.

We want to be a bridge from division and fragmentation to unity and wholeness. Bridging this divide starts with gathering courageous and compassionate people willing to listen and learn from history and the experiences of people of color in our community. The choice to listen with an open mind is where compassionate activism and lasting change begins.

Kingwood Christian Church and The Luke Church (Humble) have partnered together for Be The Bridge Project. Meeting the third Thursday of each month, rotating host between the two churches.
