The Texas primaries are coming up on March 3 with early voting starting on Feb. 17.

As a community of faith, KWCC wants to support our members in making thoughtful, informed choices. We will be exploring the question: how do each of us integrate our faith, our values and our aspirations into our political positions?

As a church, we do not seek to promote any particular candidates or party, but we do want to invite ourselves to ask good questions before deciding which candidates to support. What are our values? Which candidates best support those values?

What experiences have we had that shape our political choices?

Which candidates best represent what we hope to see in the world?

This event, sponsored by Shalom Circle, seeks to offer a safe space for us to deeply explore our own values, experiences and beliefs. And how those will impact which candidates we choose to vote for in the primaries. (You will not be asked to specify who you decide to vote for or even which party you support.)

Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a light dinner at 6:00, followed by the program from 6:30 – 7:30.

Please RSVP by Feb. 1. Be sure to indicate whether or not you need child care.
