The Maranatha Class (Sundays, 9:45am, meeting in Classroom A) is offered to everyone searching for a better understanding of scripture through: 1. scripture reading; 2. inquiry into original context (historical setting, authorship, audience, meaning); and 3. the takeaway message(s) for today’s world. Mark Pike facilitates the class, but participants are the teachers through their observations, discernment, and questions. Whether you are relatively new to Bible study or have memorized the text of all 66 Bible books, our aim is to support and undergird your faith journey.
Currently, the class is winding up a review of Paul’s letters to the churches in Philippi and Rome. And the study after that? The Class will collectively decide. And for those who are “iffy” about joining a KWCC Bible study consider this: the Bible is filled with stories of greed, passion, murder, war, sex…and God’s ultimate love for His creation. You can’t get more interesting than that!
