The summer study for This Present Word is “Call Sealed with a Promise.” These lessons feature the theme of God’s call of a covenant community as reflected in the Old Testament books of the law. The call of God to live in covenant community today is emphasized through these lessons. Each of the lessons is self-standing—don’t worry if you can’t attend every Sunday. If you are new to Bible study, this is a great class for you. Each week we explore the historical context as well as what the scriptures say to us today.
