The 2008 Deacon Group is sponsoring a weekday prayer ministry for Kingwood Christian Church. The church will be open from 7 - 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings for Prayer and Meditation. A deacon or prayer team member will be present during the prayer time to listen to concerns and/or be a supporting presence. Candles will be set out on the altar for lighting, the prayer rail set up. Prayer/meditation materials and a current list of KCC prayer concerns will be located in the foyer. A prayer "journal" will be available in the foyer where individuals can record prayer concerns or reflections from individual prayer time.
