KCC Sunday School for Children Grades Pre-K through 5th Grade

Kingwood Christian Church is justifiably very proud of our Sunday School Program. Both the children and adults who participate regularly in KCC Sunday classes as well as other church sponsored learning opportunities form deep bonds with each other while learning about the joys of God's love, faithfulness and intent for us all to live with Him fully by utilizing the tools he shares with us in the Bible.

Currently, our Children and Youth are sharing the same curriculum of "Rock Solid." In order for children to have faith and build a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, they must first experience what faith is like and see it lived out in the adults around them. Rock Solid will helps provide the foundation where this can happen.

Research tells us that in order for children to "know," they must experience and find a nurturing environment to practice and process. Rock Solid sessions are built around Bible stories. The children will form a lasting relationship with the Bible as they hear the stories and relate to them on a personal level. As children build their faith, the KCC study program will give them the tools to unlock the Bible message and send them on a faith-building journey that will last a lifetime.

KCC Children in Pre-K through 5th grade meet in age-based classrooms to learn what the Bible has to say and how we can apply its lessons to our everyday lives. All children are always welcomed as we meet from 9:30 – 10:30 AM every Sunday morning. Special holiday activites are enthusiastically planned for both small and large groups and KCC kids are always encouraged to bring along their friends and neighbors to join in the fun!
